Heavy-duty overhead conveyor series PX80, PX100, PX160, WT3, WT4, WT6

It is composed of track, power chain, load trolley, carrier, switch, drive unit , tension unit and safety unit. Load trolley running on closed loop formed by track, and each one is equally spaced and connected on power chain. Switch makes it possible for power chain to change direction in horizontal, vertical or inclined direct so as to form a close loop.

The carrier loading items and connecting with load trolley which is powered by single drive or multi drive per conveyor length. Single drive can provide power for conveyor length 500m. Multi drive conveyor lines can be longer but the drive devices need to be synchronized. At inclined and declined section of conveyor equipped with anti-back device or anti-runaway device, which can stop load trolley once the chain broke to avoid items dropping. Because of close loop the conveyor can not transfer items to another route.

Main Conveyor Equipment Description

●l drive unit

The belt type linear drive unit is composed of supporting frame, floating frame, SEW reducer motor and power chain. Which equipped with rotating floating mechanical overload protection and heat-relay protection. Benefit from the firm support frame, the transmission unit can provides sufficient driving force. Due to the adjustable tension wheel and chain support mechanism make it easier to install and adjust the chain engagement clearance. The transmission station is equipped with a working platform for easy access to each component.

●l take-up unit

Take-up unit is used to keep the power chain with certain tension force. The cylinder and air pneumatic unit is from SMC of Japan. The travel stroke of it covers the length of a push rod pitch. At the end of take-up unit equipped with a detection switch that can display chain slack, chain jamming, and chain fracture faults. The tension and expansion part is installed on a rigid frame with a walking wheel and a guide wheel for precise guidance, and an inlet guide slot is set on the track. Under take-up unit there is an inspection platform.

●l power chain

The power chain is a WEEB module detachable chain. The theoretical pitch of the X-458 chain is 102.4mm, the material is 45Mn2, the breaking load is 186KN, and the allowable tensile force is 15KN. The safety factor is greater than 12. Produced according to our factory's internal standards (higher than national standards)

●l Chain load attachment

Power chain is supported by load attachment, which is made of forged high carbon steel with high strength; it is equipped with P82 full bead integral bearing wheel, and the roller bearing is protected by a three-layer labyrinth seal, plus an extended CERCRIRES pressure type lubricating nozzle. The arrangement of load attachment is not only economical and reasonable, but also coordinated with the vertical curve and horizontal turn of power chain. The roller track is generally made of GB706-65 I-beam and 110 section steel.

●l track

Track is made of 16Mn high-quality alloy I-beam steel, with features of high strength and wear resistance. All the tracks are straightened to ensure a flat and smooth surface.

●l curve track

To ensure strength of the vertical curve, it is cold-formed and shipped to the site as a whole. The radius of vertical curve is R4500.

●l horizontal turn unit

Back-up roller turn and traction wheel turn are designed to guide the chain for smooth and excessive horizontal turn, and reduce the running resistance at the same time. In order to make regular oil injection and lubrication more convenient and faster, ball bearing shaft and extended nozzles are equipped with back-up roller and inside the traction wheel hub.

●l Chain lubrication

The oil mist auto-lubrication equipment is special used for pin shaft lubrication of the chain, which installed at the exit position of take-up unit where the tension force is minimum, it will inject certain amount of oil to the pin shaft at a fixed time.

●l Chain backup trolley lubrication

The special chain backup trolley lubrication equipment is installed before take-up unit where the tension force is minimum, it will inject certain grease to the power chain bearing wheel at a fixed time.
